Fab6 workshop – build a 3D printer

This week Fab6 took place in the Netherlands, there were several workshops to attend, one of them was to build a 3D printer, the Ultimaker. Wood was laser cut and two people with no technical skills started building the machine. They enjoyed building and we were amazed to see that at the end of the afternoon they finished building the hardware. Great Job.

We had a marvelous time at the lab in Utrecht and building the Ultimaker printer was a super experience. I had never done this before and found that with wonderful partners it was pretty easy and very satisfying.

It was great to build it. I really liked the way how you made it.
