We worked very hard to get these shipped, we had a tight deadline for pickup but luckily we could reschedule it to the end of the day so more packages could be shipped out. We also sprayed our cool new logo on the box
Included in the package are all the parts to build, start printing and maintain the Ultimaker, hex screwdriver and more. For the first couple of batches we will also include the filament to print with (random color PLA).

We’re really looking forward seeing these show up at your door.
[Update] On the following map, the green pins are people who have an Ultimaker in transit to them (or were in an Ultimaker workshop). The blue pins are those who secured a place in the Ultimaker pre-order (some pins are missing, feel free to add yourself!).
Ultimaker Operator Map.

Congrats with reaching this milestone. Chapeau.
Will the new logo be uploaded to Thingiverse ?
Hi, I bought one of your printers recently. How long will it take to get to Barcelona?
I admire your work!
I was wondering the same thing. No pin in the map, no confirmation of shipping, no indication in the store, receipt on file.
I’m sorry we didn’t confirm it. Most people had at least sent an e-mail or two, so we usually told people then. You’re very high on the list of people to ship to… (since you ordered early). Feel free to also put your pin up there, because pretty soon you’ll have your Ultimaker!
Dunno about Barcelona but DHL says mine shipped on Friday at 5pm from the Netherlands and was on the local delivery truck in Boston at 8:45AM today…
I’m very impressed with how quickly it made it to the US.
Hopefully be seeing our bots soon.
Btw, does “My Orders” in the shop work? I decided to have a look at it and it said that I have placed no orders (but I still have the Paypal receipt for my order).
“My orders” isn’t the best way to check if your order is processed. Instead, we look if we’ve received a payment. Please check and let me know your order number so I can give you more information on the status of your order.
Congratulations guys! Just starting a Prusa Mendel build to experiment with my (embryonic) O.S. watch project, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on development of Ultimaker.
Congrats, folks!!
Erik looks like he could use some sleep. Is that Martijn in the black shirt?
Yes, that’s Martijn
And yes, I worked all Thursday night on preparing the packages. Safe to say, I was a wreck. Caught up some sleep now.
So, are you guys shipping them daily as they’re ready to go or saving them up and doing weekly shipments or otherwise? My birthday is this Thursday – you know it’d make a great present to know my Ultimaker had shipped!
(Think I was order 48)
Can’t wait!
Dave
Awesome news guys. It seems like an awesome product and a great development for the open source 3d printer community.
Wow Erik,
There are a lot ultimakers in the world now.
You must feel very proud
Congratulations !!!
Can wait to see very BIG prints on thingiverse !!

Pieter
Hey, are you shipping those to Brazil too?
Sorry to ask but I just wanna make sure, as I`m willing to buy one very soon.
Yes, in principle we ship to every country! We’re looking forward to your order! We’re currently working on reducing the lead time, but for the moment think 4-6 weeks until we ship your kit.
Nice product man! When would you update your reprap wiki page with cad files and bom? Thanks for your help!
Nice work! Would you update the reprap wiki page with bom and cad files? Thanks =)
How many of the parts can actually be printed?
Hi guys,
congratulations! Very impressive project!!! We are working in a fab lab in sevilla, spain… Hopefully joining the bigger network soon…
Was wondering about the distribution license o Ultimaker. You mention it is open source, but i cannot find – after quite some search – the actual license… Construction and electronics plans, etc.
Of course, we will try to get one of your machines as soon as we get some cash… The early makerbot that we have had for some time is being hard for us, even if we love it. It will be nice to have the two machines and play with both of them, compare…
It would also be very nice if you could publish your presentation about innovation ecologies in the Botacon [?] event that you were mentioning in another post!
All the very best _ osfa**
Hi osfa,
I’d be interested to hear how you think the two machines compare.
