Ultimaker +

Specialy for the World MakerFaire we made Ultimakers in colors and an experimental Ultimaker +, build envelope 21x21x55cm. We took it to Time Square for a nice picture.
Visited a Makerbot party with the Ultimakers, great guys, they let us print beside the rows of TOM’s.

      Hi Johannes,

Yes, we will make it available. The exact date is not know, because we want to make it even more awesome ;) Make sure you watch the mailing list, twitter and/or our facebook group!

I was at Makerfaire and I saw your machine. I was amazed by the difference in detail of the 3D prints compared to all of the others. You guys are miles ahead of the others. Also, I was surprised about how small the machine is, even though you can print bigger parts than all of the other machines.

I’m definitely buying one! Keep up the great work!

I live in the Netherlands and lijke to know where I can buy an Ultimaker. Just an adress will do or a webshop that can be trusted …

Hehe, that’s me in the last picture. It was taken Sunday morning… Boy was I tired.

  7. Adrian says:

Hi, does the Ultimaker have a heated build platform?

  8. Antoine says:

WoW! Great work guyz !! Keep it up!
Do you think your Ultimaker+ will be available before the end of the year?

  9. Williwaw says:

Haha, your shop just got the Hack A Day effect…congratulations :)

  10. Basil says:

Thumbs up for the “oversized” model! There is demand from Switzerland for that!

  11. Andrew says:

Really want to see something bigger like 60x60x60cm cube, yeah, moar!!!!

  12. Bry says:

Please post more info on the Ultimaker+ … larger build areas are lacking in the market!

  13. Pascal says:

Is the Ultimaker always – only – available as kit or also as ready to use (already assembled) version ?

Is the Ultimaker also available as ready assembled version or only as kit?

I’d like to buy a 3d printer to use modeling my machine designs and extra z axis dimensions would be really handy especially for the chasis parts. Is there any scheduled release date for such ultramaker+ models ? I could really wait for few months more if this is gonna be on market

  16. Jordy says:

Any idea of the cost of a ultimaker+ kinda on a budget

  17. Rob Bowers says:

Ultimaker + please! I am saving like crazy for a Ultimaker but would really love the behemoth 21x21x55cm. Are these going to happen? I’m keen.

  18. RC says:

I foresee a huge market for this technology in the field of pre-cast concrete.
In fact I think it could prove to be just the thing to make possible
the mass production of concrete molds so as to realize Frank Lloyd
Wright’s vision for the concrete house. 3D printing ought
to make it possible to cheaply produce the complex precast
concrete molds necessary for building the highly decorative
yet cheap concrete structures Wright tried to popularize all his life.

  19. Daniel says:

I am really interested in your printer, but desperately want to get my hands on the ultimaker+.
Do you have any idea when this will be released?

  20. Blair says:

The faster this becomes available, the faster you will have my card details. Only concern is if there is any flex in the platform with taller heavier prints? Also is there a rough guide as to when this will be available? Back studying architecture in September and would ideally like to have had some practice time before that.
